What has brought us together is a mission, which has been slowly developing over the past few years and is now ripe for outreach. As Phood Farm has developed from “seed,” to seedling, to young plant and soon to a beautiful tree full of fruit, so in our vision everything and everyone grows.

So does every person, including ourselves and everyone who comes into our home open. With a shared passion and background in the art of self-healing through Tai Chi, and a desire to make this earth a little healthier, we are, in our view, bringing something new into the world. Yes, we are a care farm, and a training institute, an urban farm, an innovative farm, and maybe more. We love innovation with a focus on health in all areas; of our heart, body, head and mind.

Phood Farm employs people of all backgrounds, challenges and qualities. Everyone is important to us, and we do our best to create a suitable place for everyone. Where you feel comfortable, can develop if you want to, or just excel in one or some of the things you are already good at. First and foremost is your real self, your desire to be able to be yourself but also to learn from the people you encounter on your path and in our workplace. That applies to everyone.

As Phood Farm, we have many different opportunities in what work you can do; this can be from sowing and maintaining the plants, learning to “brew” the healthy drink Kombucha, supporting in technical and construction work, to even administrative tasks or helping in the kitchen of the adjacent restaurant and partner Phood Kitchen. In any case, everyone gets together during the communal lunch hour, where a delicious healthy lunch is provided every day by the kitchen team.
